SUSTAINABILITY AND COMMUNITY

Our commitment to the community

Since our beginnings at Termas del Sol, we have believed that well-being should also be shared. Over the years, we have provided more than 15,000 complimentary invitations, bringing the thermal experience to local residents, educational institutions, older adults, healthcare workers, firefighters, the Armed Forces, and various community organizations.

We believe that well-being is also built together. That is why our commitment has been part of the essence of Termas del Sol since day one.

A place to learn and grow

We have hosted various initiatives focused on learning and physical activity.

Our pools have hosted swimming lessons taught by professionals, enabling more than 300 people to learn how to swim for free. In addition, we have welcomed aquatic activities organized by community institutions and groups, allowing people of different ages to learn, connect, and develop new skills in a natural and safe environment.

We are pleased to make this space available for initiatives that strengthen community life and promote people’s development.

NATURE INSPIRES US TO CARE

Just as the thermal water is at the heart of this experience, we believe there is also a responsibility to care for the environment of which it is a part.

  • Native flora

We have planted more than 5,000 native plants, contributing to the restoration of the environment and strengthening the local ecosystem. In addition, we replant in areas where quila has hindered the growth of other species, actively supporting the regeneration of native flora.

  • Recycling and composting

We aim to reduce the amount of waste we generate through a waste-sorting system for recycling and industrial composting of organic waste. In this way, we give materials that can still be used a new purpose and reduce the impact of our operations on the environment.

BIOFILTER

A biofilter is a biological wastewater treatment system that, at Termas del Sol, uses the TOHA System, a Chilean technology that works in harmony with nature.

Through the action of Californian earthworms and microorganisms, wastewater is treated naturally, allowing organic matter to be broken down and the water purified before it is returned to its natural course.

We chose this system because we believe that well-being also means caring for the environment that makes this experience possible. It reflects our commitment to developing this project in harmony with nature and contributing to its conservation.
